Collection: Journey Collection

This collection was inspired by an expression of aliveness and nature, much like the water under a canoe showing movement. 

The Canoe in Motion ring is inspired by the canoe, a stereotypical symbol of Canada. As a traditional mode of transport that allowed for the opening up of Canada; the canoe represents a journey, harmony with nature, discovery, and courage. It is one of the greatest gifts The Indigenous People gave to all those who came after.

The red garnet references the classic colour of Canada, while the gold references the natural resources mined in Canada. In continuing the theme to express aliveness in my jewellery pieces, the canoe sits at an angle to show movement.
